Ronit Adar

Ronit was born in 1964 in Boston, USA to an English father and Moroccan mother, and moved to Israel in 1968. She started studying Tai Chi Chuan in 1986 with Master Assi Ben-Porat, visiting the BTCCA in London for a week in 1989. In 1990 she started studying with Nitsan Michaeli with whom she still works thrice weekly in Tel Aviv. She started teaching Tai Chi in 1995, running various classes in and around Tel Aviv. She also organises and teaches an annual weeklong Tai Chi residential retreat, which has been held in Greece as well as the desert in Israel. She is a fully trained physiotherapist, craniosacral therapist and psychotherapist, working from her private clinic in Tel Aviv.
