taichi heartwork blog

My weblog started in May 2005 to keep students and colleagues up to date with the developing Heartwork. Posts range from simple articles on Tai Chi, to deep inquiries into the philosophical implications of the work, to poetry, to short pithy quotes from my teacher's writings and lessons. It is visited by about 100 people every day, mostly Tai Chi students but also poets, academics, and others.

The first Tai Chi school in Europe to be run by a fully recognized Master, now Grand Master John Kells. Reopened briefly in Camden Town, London in 2006. Now based in Chepstow, Wales.

Ann McIlraith's website. Ann is a student of John Kells and is a recognized Master of Tai Chi Chuan. She teaches weekly Tai Chi and Heartwork classes in Cork, Mallow, Michelstown and Kanturk in Southern Ireland.

Mark Raudva's Tai Chi School in South London. Mark has been a student of John Kells since 1986 and is an excellent teacher as well as a fully recognized Master of Tai Chi Chuan.

Christian Birch runs luxury residential weekend Tai Chi retreats for beginners in various beautiful locations around the UK and Europe. He has also started one day Introductions to Tai Chi in London. Christian has over 25 years Tai Chi experience and is one of the few Masters to teach Sun style Tai Chi Chuan in the UK. His website has a useful booklist.

rita harris in rotherhithe

Rita started Tai Chi with John Kells in 1978, is a fully recognized Master of Tai Chi Chuan, and has been teaching in Rotherhithe and Bermondsey for over 10 years. Her website is under construction so email me for details of her classes.

The Tai Chi school of Caroline Ross. Caroline teaches in Hackney, London and in the Aberdeen area of Scotland. She is a student of Mark Raudva.

The Tai Chi school of David Knight. Shoreditch is the fashionable part of the London Borough of Hackney and is very close to Liverpool Street station, Old Street, and Hoxton. David is a student of Mark Raudva and John Kells.
